How do I apply?

With the recent launch of our Approval Centre it’s now easier than ever to apply for our Rent-Try-Buy® Solution. Simply call our Approval Hotline on 1800 337 153 to receive over-the-phone approval.

Alternatively, you can still apply online or fax through an application form available at your dealer which will be processed within 24 hours of receipt.

 

How quickly can I arrange finance?

Our Approval Centre has sped up the process of arranging finance as you will receive over-the-phone approval. Other application methods are approved within 24 hours of receipt.

Should an urgent need arise, we can prioritise the process to achieve same-day approval. Because we are not lending money, and you, our customer are just paying for the use of the equipment, we don’t require your last two years’ financials and a completed personal assets and liability statement, etc.
All these processes cost you time and money. With Silver Chef, it is a simple phone call or one-page application form that usually takes less than five minutes to complete.

 

When does the rental agreement start?

The rental agreement commences on the day of installation and your first payment will be deducted seven days after delivery.

 

Can you rent for less than 12 months?

Our rental agreement term is 12 months, but you have the option to purchase the equipment at anytime and will receive 75% of the rent you have paid, excluding GST, off the purchase price.

 

How does the payment system work?

You will be provided a Direct Debit Authority with the rental agreement, which allows electronic transfer of funds from your account to Silver Chef each week. If you have a preferred day that you would like to pay, please notify us and we can accommodate your wishes.

 

What happens with the maintenance?

Each new piece of equipment comes with a manufacturer’s warranty, which is passed on to you. Once the warranty has expired, then as with any other finance package, you are responsible for repair costs.

 

When do I get my security bond back?

When you exercise your purchase option, upon Silver Chef’s receipt of the funds, the security bond will be refunded usually within seven days. If you choose to return the equipment at the end of the contract, the security bond will be refunded less any cleaning, transport to local depot, repair costs or replacement of non-returned accessories.

 

What will my payout figure be when I choose to exercise the purchase option?

Simply call Silver Chef on (07) 3335 3300 and we will provide you with your payout figure. Once we have received payment, you will receive a letter advising that the ownership of the asset has been transferred to you.
